Until now there have been a lack of options on New Year’s Eve for many Christians who either visit and feel uncomfortable at the alcohol fueled clubs or spend the evening at home watching Dick & Ryan countdown the time as the crystal ball falls in New York. Our good friend Gator has tipped us off to an amazing first for Superchick. They’ve made career history by posting their highest ever first week CD sales. Consequently, Superchick claimed prime positioning on multiple retail and digital sales charts. Grabbing the #2 position on Nielson SoundScan’s Top Christian Albums chart.

Superchick follows up 700,000 career albums and 70 film, television and video game placements with the premiere of its boldest project to date, appropriately titled “Rock What You Got”. Three years in the making, it comes on the heels of Superchick’s most successful album ever, Beauty From Pain, which landed three No. 1 radio singles including “We Live” and “Stand In The Rain.”
