According to SCC’s manager, Jim Houser’s blog, Steven Curtis Chapman will be teaming up with fellow Christian music artist and friend Michael W. Smith this fall for the “United Tour.” The tour poster was released to SCC’s fans a few weeks ago, but no official announcement on when tickets will go on sale. Jim went on to talk about a new radio single and what to expect on this tour…
After much discussion…Sparrow Records/EMICMG and StevenCurtisChapman.com announce today that the next radio single from Steven’s “This Moment” album, available to radio for airplay on August 1st, will be “Yours.” Additional breaking news! A new version of the song will be released. “Yours” (new verse) includes a new 4th verse that Steven has written since the loss of his daughter Maria in a tragic accident on May 21, 2008.
Chapmans to appear on Good Morning America
Steven Curtis Chapman and his wife Mary Beth, and possibly even the Chapman children, will be appearing on Good Morning America the week of August 4th. Once we have a better idea of the exact date we’ll pass it along to you. This will be the first major TV interview since the loss of their daughter Maria.

Over $500,000 Donated To Maria’s Miracle Fund
As of last week, over $500,000 has been donated to Maria’s Miracle Fund. There are not enough words to be able to express the deepest gratitude from the Chapman family and the Shaohannah’s Hope ministry for these donations.
This is an overwhelming and honorable tribute to such a spirit-filled family and a beautiful young girl. Due to the generosity of these donations, this ministry continues to give hope and support to orphans around the world to find forever families. Read more
Steven Curtis Chapman To Return To Stage
After much conversation, counsel and prayer, Steven Curtis Chapman is ready to hit the stage once again. His first show will be on July 11th at Lifest in Oshkosh, WI.
Though the family is continuing to walk through this very difficult time, and some unforeseen additional issue might cause a change at a later time, as of today he fully expects and plans to play all of his previously scheduled US dates.
