Skillet Is Back In The Studio
Skillet took a bit of a break from the road to get back into the studio. They won’t be posting the Live Studio Cam link just yet, but when they do we’ll get it to you. They just want to make sure they get in the swing of things before they actually put it up. The new project should be out in the Spring of 2009 and I can’t wait to hear new music from them.

Well, according to this e-mail that we got from Ben they’ve been on a two week vacation, Jon’s writing some new songs for the next Skillet project and Ben’s currently reading the book “Searching For God Know’s What” by Donald Miller which is stretching his faith. Skillet Responds To Recent Concert Incident

Skillet had a role on CMT’s “Mobile Home Disaster”
INO Records band Skillet recently had a role on CMT’s “Mobile Home Disaster”. This show is very similar to “ABC’s “Extreme Home Makeover”, but they’re renovating mobile homes instead of houses. Last Thursday night focused on the Talcott family whose favorite band is you guessed it Skillet.
Each of the kids in the family were given a special Skillet gift bag at the end of the show and were taken to see them perform live and meet the band back stage at Spirit West Coast Del Mar back in May. I can’t find any video, but if you do let us know so we can post it.
Happy Birthday Nick (Skillet)
We wanted to say happy belated birthday to Nate from Skillet. It looks like he’s not big on birthday’s so the rest of the band wanted to make him feel special. Oh and don’t miss the surprise ending from Jon at a recent show…that’s gotta hurt.
Checking in with Skillet
Our correspondent, Robin, saw Skillet live at Spirit West Coast Del Mar last weekend. She was completely blown away by their set and the fireworks were amazing. Well, it looks like they’re still hanging in California according to this e-mail we got from Benjamin….
Hey guys, I am hanging out in the hotel in Bakersfield. Had a great show last night. Thanks to everyone who came out! You all were amazing. I love coming to Cali! It’s so beautiful! We’ve been here the last couple weeks for different shows. I’m thinking about moving. haha..
