WOW Hits 2009 Sees Double Digit Increase Over 2008
WOW Hits 2009 released earlier this month and it has already seen a double digit increase over the WOW Hits 2008 project, in spite of a down economy and all-time low of recorded music sales. These hits compilation projects continue to set sales records in fact this new WOW project has seen an 11% increase in sales compared to last year’s collection, outselling WOW Hits 2008 in both of the first two weeks of sales. Get to know the Michael Gungor Band
We’re very excited to share with you the music and ministry of the Michael Gungor Band. First thing you should know is that this is a family affair, with Michael’s wife Lisa on keys and background vocals. They recently signed to one of our favorite labels Brash Music (Aaron Shust, Chris Sligh). Michael is best known for writing the chart-topping “Friend of God” for Phillips, Craig and Dean. Lincoln Brewster to drop “Today Is The Day” Sept. 23rd
Lincoln Brewster will release his next studio project, “Today Is the Day,” on September 23rd. Leading up to the release, he is out promoting the current radio single and title track. He will be appearing at Kingdom Bound in Darien Center, NY, on August 3rd and at the National Outreach Convention November 5th-7th. Read more

Our good friend Josh from DecembeRadio told us last month that they were hard at work on their new project “Satisfied”. Well, now it looks like they’re ready to share it with all of us on Aug. 26th. This Beautiful Republic returns August 19th with a new Forefront Records/EMI album, entitled “Perceptions.” The title deals with the idea that there are at least two sides to every story. Things inevitably appear different to each individual based on their experiences, predispositions, prejudices or vantage point. When we understand this, that what we see may not be the whole truth, we arrive where grace and love prevail. A preview of “Perceptions” was released last July 8 release “Learning to Fall,” a three-track digital-only single for just $0.99 that also includes two previous live tracks.

David Crowder Band will release the “Remedy Club Tour” CD/DVD to retail on Aug. 19th. This will be their first ever full-length DVD featuring five and a half hours of content, including a behind the scenes tour documentary, song demonstrations hosted by each member of the Crowder band and chord/lyric subtitles in addition to 16 songs recorded live on last fall’s best-selling Remedy Club Tour. Family Force 5 to drop new project Aug. 19th
Family Force 5 is currently on the “Vans Warped Tour 08″ until August 17th and then two days later on August 19th they’ll release their sophomore project “Dance Or Die”.
This new release is a strategic partnership between the Transparent Media Group founded by the band’s Olds brothers, manager Chris Woltman and producer Joe Baldridge with EMI Music Marketing and Tooth & Nail Records. Bill Gagnon, Sr. VP of EMI Music had this to say…

Downhere to drop “Ending Is Beginning” Sept. 23rd
We’re very excited and can’t wait to hear the new Downhere project “Ending Is Beginning”, which will become available on September 23rd. This is the follow-up project to Wide Eyed & Mystified”. This new project features twelve brand new songs, plus the bonus track “How Many Kings” from their 2007 hit. All of the were written by Marc Martel & Jason Germain and produced by Mark Hiemermann (DC Talk, MWS), Stephen Gause (Jars of Clay, Derek Webb) and downhere.
