Wisdom of tooth lesson from Lifehouse
We got an e-mail update from Jason Wade of Lifehouse about having his tooth pulled last Thursday. He wants to use this experience as an opportunity to pass along some Wisdom of Tooth to those of you who may be hurting today and headed in for the same procedure.
I’m in Indiana today, and I’ve made a pretty successful recovery from the pulling of the tooth incident. I do have a strong message for anyone who is going to get their teeth pulled in the future. Make sure they knock you out!
Lifehouse comes off the road

We are all back in LA now with a few weeks to relax and come down from the 3 months of buses, flights, fans, hotel rooms, interviews, sold out shows and adrenaline rushes… etc. Hollywood: Our rock and roll rehab. Our last show of this leg was in Puerto Rico. It started off as a Dodge convention but somehow evolved to being one of the most intense arena rock shows of our lives. The convention had 22 thousand texts from fans trying to win free tickets; I think we wound up playing for most of them. Some girl was so excited she was pulling the cables out of my pedal board. I apologize to her for my bass tech trying to stomp on her fingers. The show must go on
Mainstream Spotlight: Lifehouse
When I entered Christian radio over 5 years ago (after spending 12 years in mainstream radio), Lifehouse was a household name. They were also a band that most Christian radio stations wouldn’t play. Fortunately for me that wasn’t the case at our station, who still, to this day, plays all of their major mainstream hits. This didn’t come easy because there were and still are some Christian radio fans that don’t know their history. This is my attempt to set the facts straight and then ask you to share them with those that may still question their faith.
Lifehouse consists of Jason Wade, Rick Woolstenhulme Jr. and Bryce Soderberg, and an additional guitarist, Ben Carey, while on tour. They came to prominence in 2001 with the hit single “Hanging by a Moment” from their debut major label album, “No Name Face”. The single won a Billboard Music Award for Hot 100 Single of the Year, beating out Janet Jackson and Alicia Keys for the No.1 Single of 2001. In 2002, they released their follow up album “Stanley Climbfall”. The band’s third album, self-titled “Lifehouse”, was released in 2005. The band released their fourth studio album “Who We Are” June 19, 2007.
But everything begins and ends with lead singer Jason Wade. Read more
