Our good friends DecembeRadio released their new project “Satisfied” to store shelves and mp3 players last week. It ended the week coming in at #3 on the Contemporary Christian Music sales chart, making it last week’s highest debut project. The project, went on to landed at #116 on the Top 200 Billboard chart. We’ve talked to DecembeRadio before, but if you don’t know who they are here is a quick re-cap. They’ve earned comparisons to the likes of rock legends Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin and Lynyrd Skynyrd, right up through current rock bands like The Black Crowes and Lenny Kravitz. In June of 2006, they released their self-titled project which was packed with a slew of single-ready, hook-heavy, infectious jams that included the monster hit “Drifter”.

Encouraging words from DecembeRadio
The last time we spoke with DecembeRadio, they were coming off the Third Day tour and getting ready to start working on their next project. Well, it looks like August 26th will be the day it hits stores shelves. Our good friend Boone sent us this e-mail to bring us all up to speed on their music and pass along a word of encouragement to you today.
DecembeRadio in studio for new project
Our good friends, DecembeRadio, just finished up the Third Day tour and now they’re back in the studio trying to finish up their new project. Boone sent us this quick e-mail:
Hey Hey!!
Well most of you know that the Third Day tour is over…tear:( But what an awesome experience it was for all of us. I can remember years ago when we were asked what band we wanted to tour with…Third Day of coarse!! So dreams do come true! I can’t say enough good things about this tour, great music, great attitudes, great fellowship. With bands like Third Day, Sanctus Real and Revive…and us, how could it not be a good time.HA!!! We met tons of great people, got to hang out with some old fans and even made some new ones. A special thanks to the guys of Third Day for letting us be apart of their ministry and to all the crew and production for making things go so smoothly. Everyone was so nice and helpful.
DecembeRadio & Sanctus Real bowling together
DecembeRadio is still rolling strong on their Spring tour with Sanctus Real and Third Day. We talked to them a few weeks back and wanted to see how things have been going so far. Brian Bunn (lead guitarist) sent us this quick update…
Hey Guys, the tour is going great! Its been so awesome to meet all you
nice people and make new friends. We had the last few days off so we
thought we’d have some fun in St Louis. Its was great. Sanctus Real
was there so we went bowling and watched movies. The great thing about
bowling with friends is that nobody is really that great. Everybody just
has fun laughing at each other or cheering them on. By the way those
guys (Sanctus) are amazing and one of my favorite bands. If you haven’t
got their new CD check it out.So after all that, we decided to spend a day with Boone’s mama(Dixie) and
daddy(Chester) in Mississippi on our way to Louisiana. She spoiled us
with great cooking and did our laundry. Hey, you can’t beat that!Well if were near your town please come out and see us. We would also
appreciate you prayers. We have many more miles to go and hope to see you all soon at a place near you.
