In all of the Thanksgiving eating and sleeping I forgot to bring you up to speed on David Cook’s first week of sales for his self-titled project. It debuted at #3 on Billboard’s Top 200 Album Chart. He also had the #1 digital album sales with over 58,000 units downloaded which is the most ever by a debut artist. It was also the best ever debut for American Idol winners. Read more

David Cook Talks About “Light On” Video
MTV.com caught up with David Cook as he was shooting the video for his first single “Light On” from his self-titled album, which hits stores November 18th. And though he realizes the video is a fairly big deal (it’s directed by Wayne Isham, the guy behind Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” and Britney Spears’ “Piece of Me”), Cook will freely admit that he’s rather starstruck by the entire process.
