God needs to know if He can trust you when He needs you most? God allows us to be tested and tried. He wants to see if we love Him enough to trust His word or the temporary promises of this world.
When God takes something or someone away from our lives it’s not because He wants to see us hurt. It’s in this moment that He wants to see how we look at Him. Do we look at Him and say…”why me?” or do we turn to Him in praise and say…”I don’t understand, but I will follow you!”
When the voices in your head are louder than the voice of God this is the greatest test for a follower of Christ. God wants to see if you are shaking your fist at Him or raising your hands in praise to Him.
The greatest thing you can do when life is getting the best of you is to revert to the power of praise and worship. Take time today and read the story of Abraham who was willing to sacrifice his one and only son to prove his love for God. You can find it in the book of Genesis 22: 1-12.
