Nancy Alcorn is the founder of Mercy Ministries. They operate a unique Christian residential facilities free of charge. Their program is designed to address the whole person: spiritual, physical and emotional. Their facilities are located throughout the nation and adhere to their core values of excellence, unconditional love and accountability. Their program is free-of-charge and lasts approximately six months. Services include individualized programs, biblically-based counseling, nutrition education, fitness instruction, life-skills training and educational opportunities.
Their goal is to have each young woman not only complete the program, but also discover the purpose for her life and bring value to her community as a productive citizen. This week a new Mercy house opened in Lincoln, CA which is their first house in that state of California.
Nancy took a few minutes in service to talk about Mercy, the new house in Lincoln, CA and encourage us to base our faith in Christ on these three things…
1.Faith for direction. Pay attention to those in your life who have been called by Him to help you.
2.Faith for Provision. Your provision is not in the place your in now, but in the future. You’ve got to show God you’re willing to step out and take a risk for Him. Then His provision will come.
3.Faith to change lives. Involve God in every detail of your life. He wants to get to the root of your problem.
