Last year we let you know that Thousand Foot Krutch and Firflight had won Taco Bell’s “Feed The Beat” contest. Well, now thanks to our good friend Matt we’ve learned that more than 100 bands have made the 2009 Feed the Beat lineup including our favorite bands NeedToBreathe, The Almost, Owl City and Mae.
Celebrating their fourth year, Feed the Beat will provide free food and marketing support to all of this years winners. Since your a music fan you too will be able to discover new music from our favorite artists and maybe a few new bands on Taco Bell’s Virtual Music Festival Web site which showcases their music along with exclusive content.
All the Feed the Beat bands were chosen by a panel of judges based on performance and musicianship, originality and material selection, and overall appeal and personality. Bands also had the opportunity to express their passion for Taco Bell and share stories about eating Fourthmeal while touring.
