Two of our favorite artists KJ-52 and Group 1 Crew announced earlier today that they’re going to be hitting the road together on their Modern Day Heroes co-headlineing tour which will kick off in February.
This will be a 30 date tour hitting more than 15 states across the country for over six weeks. This tour will be filled with vertical rhymes, high energy dance moves, and possibly even a few surprises. You can expect all the same energy and showmanship that both KJ-52 and Group 1 Crew bring to their own shows all under one roof.
The Modern Day Heroes tour is more than a concert, it is a tour with a two-fold purpose; members of the local communities will nominate a Modern Day Hero to be locally recognized as a community service hero, and, secondly, the artists will host a pre-show Firestarter Bible Study for the local youth.
The community aspect of the tour first includes the nomination of a local hero. For each market, anyone will be able to submit their nomination for a local service hero. This person needs to exemplify dedication to ministry, his or her community, and others around the area. The selected hero will be honored in their city when the Modern Day Heroes tour hits their town.
Secondly, KJ-52 and Group 1 Crew will implement and lead a Firestarter Bible Study walking through the book of Luke for local youth groups in each tour market. Interacting on a spiritual level and studying scripture prior to the concert will be a pre-sale purchase for youth groups. Each bible study will be limited to the first 75 people who purchase pre-sale tickets. Info on how to nominating a Modern Day Hero and purchase advance tickets will be announced soon!
Have you seen either of these acts on tour before? If so, let us read your concert review in the box below so we can get an idea of what to expect.
