Most of the world has seen the video footage of Adam Lambert’s performance on the American Music Awards last weekend. If you haven’t then just Goggle search “Adam Lambert AMA” and you’ll see what a lot of people have been talking about this week. Right after I saw the performance I wanted to know what Kris Allen thought of it. mtv.com is reporting that Kris stopped by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” this past Tuesday and joked with the her about how closely tied their careers are and if they’re still friends…
I think everyone is going to put us together, no matter what happens. But it’s cool. People can’t compare us musically at all … or in our lives. We stayed really good friends. We even hung out the other night.
Kris has been married for a little over a year, and told Ellen that he was excited to finally be able to bring his wife Katy out on the road.
We’re doing some Christmas shows, some promo for the album. She’s gonna come to some stuff. It’ll be good. She wasn’t able to come on the ‘Idol’ tour — there were some rules where she couldn’t [come] on the bus.
Kris also discussed how he found his one and only in his wife, whom he’s known for the last eight years…
People are like, ‘Why’d you get married so young?’ And I was like, ‘I just knew,’ (causing the audience to audibly swoon) oh gosh, I wasn’t trying to be cuddly and nice [when I said that]. If you know, you know. I didn’t want to try anything else.

The Music Industry has to be held a standard of decency. So many teenagers have always been listening and watching to these artist who does not provide values to their songs and its all about money!!!! Adam Lambert can start the lead by doing so.
Adam Lambert’s performance is one of the disgusting performance on TV. But if you looked at Beyonce, Shakira to name a few where they show their body to sell their products are also disgusting. People in public figure needs to show a better example.
I don’t agree with the standard of decency KA. It’s capitalism at it’s purest, the media sells what people are buying and one really needs to look inward for a solution… AND CHANGE THE CHANNEL. I do commend you though for acknowledging that Adam Lambert’s performance is not a singular issue in the issue of sex in the media.
Adam Lambert should have been the winner on american idol, he is very talented and is a great performer but he did not win.
