Kings of Leon Drummer Marries

kingsofloendrummerkevin Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill married his longtime girlfriend Jessie Baylin over the weekend. mtv.com is reporting today that Nathan 30, and Jessie, 25, married on Saturday evening at Wolf Den Farm in Brentwood, Tennessee. He is the first of the Kings brothers to marry.

It was a small ceremony that included close friends and family, as well as actress Scarlett Johansson, a high school friend of Jessie’s. The couple first met at the Bonnaroo festival in 2006.

Jessie is a singer/songwriter in her. own right. She has released two projects of rootsy music, including last year’s “Firesight.” Nathan even took time to tweet about his wedding on Sunday morning…

I woke up with a married woman in my bed this morning. Luckily she was mine.

The wedding caps a big year for the band, who have long been popular overseas, but had struggled to build a large U.S. audience until recently. In addition to a smash headlining tour of amphitheaters their current project “Only By The Night” has sold more than 7 million copies worldwide.
