Last night was the Country Music Awards show, in a few weeks you’ll be able to watch The American Music Award show and then in the first week of January you’ll get to see the 2010 Peoples Choice Award show. This show reads like a who’s who of the music, film and TV charts, but I only watch it for the music. I mean can you see them acting out a scene from the Twilight saga “New Moon” over a performance by Beyonce’ or Daughtry?
The show, which will air on January 6th on CBS and will be hosted by Queen Latifah. The most interesting nomination for a 2010 People’s Choice Award is the one between Adam Lambert and Kris Allen, who will face off in the Breakout Star category. But, don’t be to quick to call out your AI winner because they’re going up against Susan Boyle who has a legion of fans from her time in the spotlight on the UK’s TV version of “America’s Got Talent”.

Both objectively and subjectively speaking, Muse should deserve a win in the rock band category. Green Day is overrated and the rest are musically not up to par to Muse. They don’t deserve to lose to them; otherwise, it’ll just be an insult.
