It’s about to get crazy busy for Switchfoot. This week they are taking the stage for Yahoo! Music’s new live concert feature called “Maximum Performance Guitar Hero 5.” Then Jon and Chad will be featured in an upcoming episode of “Road Trip Nation” airing on PBS stations in November. MySpace will premiere their new project “Hello Hurricane” the week before its released and the band will be interviewed on their “The MySpace Music Feed” on Monday, November 9th.
“Hello Hurricane”, is Switchfoot’s first studio project since 2006’s “Oh! Gravity”, which debuted at #18 on The Billboard Top 200 chart. The band tracked more than 80 songs at its self-built home studio in San Diego before narrowing it down to the 12 that appear on the new project.
No new project can go on sale without you being able to hear the songs live for your self. Here are the official dates for he “Hello Hurricane” tour. They’ll also be collecting donations for local food banks along the tour route, so fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to these concerts.
