fireflightpic09It looks like our good friends from Fireflight are having a little tour bus trouble. Justin was kind enough to send us an e-mail to bring us up t speed on what has taken place and how you might be able to help them get back on the road again. Hey I wonder if they can turn that into a rock track…”On the road again, I just can’t wait to get back on the road again.” Come on you know you hear that tune in your head now. If not, then your to young and missed out on one great song. Anyways…now back to Justin from Fireflight.

So a lot of you have been sending emails/comments, etc asking how you can help with the issues we’ve been having with our bus the last two weeks, as well as an update as what’s going on, so here goes:

Basically we took our bus in after hearing a knock happening underneath us as we were driving to Montana. After looking at it, the mechanic let us know there were a few issues. They fixed a potentially HUGE problem that would’ve caused us to need a new transmission, and after a week, finally replaced another part that needed replaced. We had to miss a show in Salt Lake City (we’ll be making that up for you guys and girls soon enough) and rented another bus to make our California, Nevada and Arizona shows.

When we arrived Arizona, our bus was there waiting for us, but unfortunately, the knocking had returned. On hearing it again, our driver got it checked out and was told it’d be okay to drive the rest of the way to AZ. Once getting there, we checked it out and basically we’re having to replace the entire wheel assembly for one of the wheels on the rear axle. Needless to say, the last two weeks have been two of the most expensive weeks in the history of our band.

So, with that said, and by request, here’s the link to our paypal account if you want to donate to our bus fund. Most importantly, we really would appreciate your prayers as we finish up this tour and prepare for Winter Jam next year. We know we’re under attack, but God is bigger than that, and He’s gonna pull us through.

So if anyone wants to donate to the repairs of the bus that would be a BIG blessing.

We love you all!
justin

Can you help a band out? Have you seen these guys rock a stage before? Leave your concert review in the comment box below. Who knows it may just help someone else see why this band is important and consider putting a few bucks into their bus repair fund.
