I’m here to let you all know about the new worship project from Kutless called “It Is Well”. It is filled with songs that you may be familiar with, but they’ve also added a few new ones as well. The one thing that I love about this new project is in the way they’ve rearranged these familiar worship songs and have given them new life.
As you start to listen to the track #1 “It Is Well” you can hear church bells and a choir singing and someone coming into a church. It opens up softly and then goes into a faster song. As it progresses you get a sense that you are all of a sudden at a rock concert.
This is more than a worship project. It’s a daily reminder to all of us who want to be closer to God. There are songs to praise our Lord and thank him for His blessings and also songs of truth to encourage those who are going through hard times.
The song that especially helps me is “What Faith Can Do”. It reminds me of the verse Matthew 17:20. Nothing is impossible through Faith. This gives me great encouragement today because my best friend has cancer and so far things are still not going well for her. But through my faith I hope to see a way out of the wilderness.
