This is a very special honor for Third Day because we are all Georgia boys thru-and-thru and have a sound with Georgia inspired roots. It is one of the biggest highlights of our career to be recognized by an organization which acknowledges such a diverse and talented group of people.
Other honorees to be inducted include Collective Soul.
In order to be nominated for the “Georgy Award” an artist must be born in or reside in the great state of Georgia for at least one year and receive a state of national acclaim for achievements in the field of recorded music.
