In our never ending quest to find out why Peter Furler really left the Newsboys we’ve finally got a video blog from his record company Inpop Records. Now, you too can hear for the first time from Peter talk about his new life outside the Newsboys was not an emotional decision. It was one directed by God and after 22 years of life on the road he is enjoying his time away.
You’ll also hear from Michael Tait about his excitement for this new opportunity to lead such an amazing ministry called The Newsboys after so many years as part of DC Talk.

Sorry to hear about Peter Furler’s departure. I suppose after 22 years, it’s about time he and his wife reconnect. At least he is staying involved and will make guest appearances. I welcome Michael Tait, but before I comment, I would like to hear him sing a newsboy’s song. Glad to see Jody returning. What about having John James return? That would soften the blow (as it were), a little, regarding Peter’s departure. Did Philip Joel leave as well, or is this old news (excuse the pun)? Duncan and Jeff, don’t even think of leaving, ya hear! Blessings to all of you and your families-they are the ones to make the big sacrifices. My prayers are with you and remember, we are always in His Grip!

Peter has written some of the greatest Worship songs of the last 20 years and deserves to be inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame
