We’ve been anxiously awaiting the arrival of The Fray’s new project for months now. Well, we just got this message from them and it looks like their new self-titled project will be out on February 3rd, 2009. They’ll also be performing on The American Music Awards later this month, have a song featured on ABC’s “Lost” and kick off a new tour in January.

Exciting things are going on in The Fray world and we want to be the first to share all the news with you.
First off, we are set to release our new self titled album on February 3rd! The new album’s first single is called “You Found Me” and you will be able to stream the song on thefray. net, starting at 10:00pm Thursday, November 20th and on Sunday, November 23rd we will perform the song for the first time on the American Music Awards.
“You Found Me” will have its primetime world premiere on Thursday, November 20th when a portion of the song will be featured in a new “Lost” music clip, with live band performance footage and exclusive scenes from the upcoming season of “Lost.” The music video will air during the 9:00pm (EST) hour on ABC.
Starting at 10:00pm EST on Thursday, November 20th, you will be able to pre-order the the deluxe version of our new album at thefray. net With this pre-order, you will receive a bonus live digital album which will be recorded during our upcoming January club tour (it will be delivered digitally on February 3rd, 2009). In addition, upon pre-ordering the record, you will receive a code which gives you a chance to purchase two tickets to one of our Club shows in January. This code will give you access to an exclusive 2 day pre-sale, starting December 3rd and ending December 5th, which is before the general public on-sale. It does not guarantee you will be able to purchase tickets, as tickets may sell out during this time.
The Fray club dates are as follows. Vedera will support January 6th-16th. Sondre Lerche will support February 4th.
