On Friday November 7th, Eisley will open for The Symphony Guild orchestra in Seattle.Film-scoring /Composer Mateo Messina , who has done award-winning compositions for movies such as Juno, brings his 11th annual benefit concert for the Children’s Hospital back to Seattle . This year’s concert – entitled “An American Symphony” features Eisley.
The Symphony Guild of Children’s Hospital is produced by an all-volunteer team of young professionals. Tickets will be sold through Brown Paper Tickets and Ticketmaster. Tickets are still available.
This concert is about Mateo’s on-going commitment to raising money for the Children’s Hospital. Boyd from the Eisley team writes:
Mateo has great vision. His commitment to the kids at the hospital is contagious. I guess I’m trying to say – the show isn’t about Mateo OR Eisley; it’s about raising funds to help families with terminally ill children… which rocks. I’ve seen clips from his previous concerts and this is something spectacular. Anyone who thinks this is a chance to yawn for an hr or two – it’s not. Highly entertaining; Mateo is very interactive. He’s quite an entertainer.
After watching Eisley perform at the Sundance Film Festival, Mateo Messina became a huge fan. Eisley will perform – acoustically – backed by the Orchestra. This will be an experience of a lifetime for them. Boyd also writes:
Eisley is psyched. Imagine getting to rehearse for 2 days and play your songs backed by an Orchestra… maybe 100 piece – in a beautiful theatre in one of your favorite cities?! I know it’s a big deal to them; hope it strikes your fancy as well. Think of getting to see Eisley’s acoustic set with the biggest production possible.
If you are in the Seattle area, come out and see Eisley perform with The Symphony Guild for a good cause.
