Paramore, Katy Perry, and The Jonas Brothers all performed on last nights MTV Video Music Awards in Hollywood. But, for me the moment of the night came from Jordin Sparks who took a swipe at this years host Russell Brand who made a nasty reference to the Jonas Brothers and their promise rings. Each one was nominated for a moon man, but didn’t win. Paramore was up for Best Rock Video for “CrushCrushCrush,” Katy & Jordin for Favorite New Artist & Jonas Brothers for Video Of The Year for “Burning Up”.
Paramore, is currently working on the follow up to their sophomore smash “Riot!”. It’ll be a while before that project drops but in the meantime “Riot!” continues to keep the band on the charts with killer tracks like their current most hit, “That’s What You Get.”
Katy Perry performed her hit single “I Kissed A Girl” and arrived on the red carpet with Miley Cyrus.
The Jonas Brothers performed this new soon to be hit single “Love Bug”.
the best part of the VMA’s was Kanye West’s performance at the end… the worst part was the host (what’s with the accent?)
