A few weeks back I shared the music and faith of Jessica Simpson. At the time I felt like she was on the verge of making a smooth crossover to Country music. Well, not according to the country fans who attended the Country Thunder USA festival in Randall, Wisconsin this past Saturday.
She dedicated the tune “You’re My Sunday” to her boyfriend and Dallas Cowboy quarterback Tony Romo, who was in the audience, and performed a slew of covers including Willie Nelson’s “On the Road Again” as well as her new single “Come On Over.” Which by the way this week moved into the Top 20 on the country singles chart.
Keep praying for them because here’s just a small glimpse into one day in their crazy life.
