The Afters just wrapped up a missions trip with Compassion International. This time around the guys found themselves in the Dominican Republic where they not only witnessed first hand the impact Compassion is having, but don’t play dice with a kid named “Wander”. Brad brings us up to speed on the trip and how he lost his shirt on the trip…
So… we just got to go on this amazing trip to the Dominican Republic with Compassion International. As many of you know, we work closely with Compassion to help their cause through educating and recruiting people like you and like ourselves to financially sponsor children in developing nations. Compassion uses your donations to provide these children and their families with clean water, food, education and a sense of community and belonging.
During our trip we got to see first hand how much of an impact Compassion has made in the lives of thousands of children all over the world.
And then there’s this kid. Name’s Wander — yeah, you read that right. You have to watch out for this kid cause LLLOOK OUT!!! He’s fast with the dice. Here you can see me losing my shirt. Cleaned me out of everything I had. Stickers, candy, pipe cleaners, everything. I called him out for using loaded dice and he kicked over the table and ran. Those Winnie the Pooh dice games just ain’t safe anymore!
