Jon Foreman, frontman of the band Switchfoot, released the final EP of his seasonally themed solo series, “Summer,” digitally last Tuesday. But, for those not to keen on the digital downloads don’t worry the “Spring” and “Summer” double-CD set will be available this coming Tuesday through Credential Recordings/EMI CMG.

All four “Seasons” discs, “Fall,” “Winter,” “Spring” and “Summer,” each serve as a chapter of Foreman’s stripped down, intimate and direct vision. Foreman produced all four discs, with Grammy-nominated Charlie Peacock serving as the executive producer.

An interesting side note is that Jon’s song “The Cure For Pain” from the “Fall” EP was used in the season finale of “Grey’s Anatomy”.
